Rangel Scholars Have Opportunity to Meet with Senior State Department Officials

On June 22, this year’s cohort of Rangel Scholars had the opportunity to join four senior State Department Foreign Service Officers for an engaging lunch discussion about careers and foreign policy at the State Department’s Harry S. Truman building in downtown Washington, DC.  The lunch was part of the Scholars first week of their six-week summer enrichment program.  The Scholars will spend six weeks at Howard University taking an economics and history course, and meeting with international affairs professionals around the city to learn more about career in international affairs and policy.  The Scholars are part of Howard University’s summer community.
